Born in Campinas – São Paulo, Brasil and currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Daniel Boccato has exhibited in various venues across New York City and Amsterdam and is working towards finishing his degree at the Cooper Union School of Art. Daniel is very interested in the production and presentation of sounds and images. This interest compels him to experiment with media such as sculpture, drawing, video and music. His works have no agenda beyond the presentation; the only item in the agenda is the encounter between the subject and object, retina and artifact, eardrum and vibrations.
