Trevor Grahl was born in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada in the spring of 1984. He started to study the piano at age 10 and began to compose on his own shortly after. Eventually, he went to McGill University in Montréal to formally study composition, piano and to play the organ. Four years later, he found himself in San Diego, also studying composition and playing the organ, but he decided that he didn’t like the desert and so he sought a new life in Amsterdam, where he currently lives and works. Trevor’s past teachers include Richard Ayres, Philippe Manoury, John Rea, and Sean Ferguson. Trevor also works as a productiemedewerker in het Orgelpark of Amsterdam, and plays the organ in de Kwakel every other Sunday.
